Choupo-Moting remarkable goal for Paris Saint Germain was out of this world

Eric Choupo-Moting’s danced with his feet, scoring a remarkable goal for PSG.

Paris Saint Germain struggled to break down Toulouse’s defence in the first half, but it was a totally different script in the second part of the game. Injury to Cavani meant that Tuchel had to throw in Eric Choupo-Moting in the first half.

In the 50th minute, the Cameroonian International tried to play a one-two with Angel Di Maria, but his return ball was intercepted by the defender. By taking the whole authority, he went past four defenders in a sumptuous manner to break the deadlock.

It was just extraordinary.

Five minutes later, Toulouse defender Mathieu Goncalves scored an own goal, before the tally was further added by Choupo-Moting and Marquinhos to culminate a convincing 4-0 victory.

Despite the victory, the situation just got worse. Kylian Mbappe was substituted after an injury, while the striker Edinson Cavani was forced to be taken off in the first half itself.

Before the game, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel was questioned about Neymar’s absence. The German remained light-tipped and asked the media to query the club’s director.

“He can play (against Toulouse) if the situation between him and the club is clear…..today it’s not clear, perhaps tomorrow it will be,” he said.

“Perhaps you have to speak to Leonardo,” he suggested. “Neymar’s had a good week (training) with all the squad, a week with a lot of work and intensity.”

Despite the interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid, the French Champions are likely to keep hold of their star.
