Juventus have offered Paulo Dybala in a swap deal for Romelu Lukaku.
Juventus are preparing an offer to lure Romelu Lukaku from Old Trafford. It is also understood that the Italian Champions are including Paulo Dybala as a part of the deal.
There is serious competition for the former Everton striker, who is wanted by Inter Milan and Juventus. Before the friendly between Manchester United and Inter, manager Antonio Conte said he is frustrated over the negotiations with the Red Devils.
The Nerazzuri have been negotiating since last month, but there has been no resolvement. Their £54 million bid with no add ons was turned down by the English outfit. Solskjaer is keen on recouping £79 million, which was the money they paid to Everton two years ago. However, the Belgian could follow the Turin-based side should the offer please the Red Devils.
As per Sky Sports, Juventus are preparing an offer for Romelu Lukaku, which could see Paulo Dybala head into the other way. Albeit all these claims, the Argentinian, who is targetted by Tottenham Hotspur, has not decided about his future yet.
Since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer, the 25-year-old has struggled for form – bagging just 10 goals in all competitions. But, the player has maintained his stance about staying at Juventus, despite his brother’s interview about his desperation to leave.
On the other hand, Romelu Lukaku has fallen down the pecking order under Solskjaer. He has failed to regain his place since losing his spot in December to the first-choice Marcus Rashford.
If the swap deal cannot be agreed, Lukaku could leave the club on a cash deal. Roberto Martinez also urged the striker to leave Manchester United over the lack of playing time. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has Lyon’s Moussa Dembele as the Belgian’s replacement in his frame.
Here’s how Twitter has reacted..
I’m told Paulo Dybala will only leave Juventus for another big European club this summer, but that Juve are trying to find potential suitors for him. He’s valued at around £80million so a potential swap with Manchester United for Romelu Lukaku makes a degree of sense. #mufc
