Christian Pulisic foul throw in, termed the worst he’s ever seen by ref during Everton vs Chelsea. Frank Lampard’s side were handed their 3rd loss in 4 matches.

Chelsea are not having the best of runs lately. The side have only registered one win since their return from the international break. Their 3 match winless run ended earlier this week when they took on Aston Villa but succumbed to yet another defeat today.

Despite playing well, Chelsea only have themselves to blame. Everton were on a 3 match losing streak and had just been brutalized by their derby rivals earlier in the week. However, Everton put an end to their misfortune when they beat the Blues 3-1 at Goodison Park.

Chelsea starlet Christian Pulisic had just as much of a bad day as the rest of his team. However, while he shares defeat with his team, none of the other Chelsea players were give the honour of having one of their throw ins be called the worst that one has ever seen.

Late in the match, Pulisic attempted to take a throw-in. However, his attempt was so bad that referee Craig Pawson not only correctly gave a throw-in to Everton, he also said it was the worst he had ever seen.

Chelsea’s next assignment is their Champions League group stage encounter against French side Lille where they will look to ensure their qualifications to the knock out rounds. Should Chelsea win the match, their qualification will be ensured.
