Clash Royale Mortar Deck: Season 15 is here and so is a whole new mortar meta. Check out our guide to the best mortar decks this season.
At just 4 elixir and as a common card, Mortar has always been one of the most useful buildings in the game. The utility, both on offence and defence from this siege unit is insane.
So let us have a look at the 3 best decks this season that use this card.
Mortar Skeleton Barrel Bait: A great new Clash Royale Mortar Deck!
Deck: Knight, Musketeer, Spear Goblins, Goblin Gang, Skeleton Barrel, Log, Fireball, Mortar. The avg. cost for this deck is 3.1.
When you talk of the best Clash Royale Mortar Deck, this one has to come into the conversation. Due to the OP Knight Musky combo, this is easily one the best defensive decks in the game. Also, the fireball log combo is great at shutting down spammed pushes. As far as offence goes, the 3.1 cycle helps you apply insane amounts of pressure early on in the game. Keep cycling Mortars and Barrels at the bridge and never let your enemy breathe a sigh of relief. All in all, this is a solid deck and so, our first pick.

Mortar Ice Bow 2.9 Hybrid.
Deck: Mortar, Knight, Archers, Skeletons, Log, Ice Spirit, Tornado, Rocket. The avg. cost of this deck is 2.9.
As the name suggests, this deck is a modified version of the two other X-bow decks so that it is suitable for this meta. The deck functions more like an ice bow deck than a 2.9. So, defensive mortars and rocket cycles should be your thing. Ice Bow has always been a solid deck. However, after the spell nerf, getting the last rocket down with a 3.5 X-bow cycle has been an issue. That is why we have the mortar in this one. The faster cycle allows you to be more aggressive with the rockets on tower.

Wacky off-meta GY Freeze Mortar.
Deck: Graveyard, Freeze, Mortar, Knight, Hunter, Inferno Dragon, Barb Barrel, Cannon Cart. The avg. cost of this deck is 3.9.
We have curated this list such that there’s something for everyone. So, from quick cycle decks, we now come to wacky double win con ones. This deck has a very strong defence with two tank killers in the Hunter and Inferno Drag on board. You also have the Knight & Cannon Card to tank for a GY. The way you play the deck by using one of your win conditions to bait out their best response. Then, using your second one just afterwards. Keep freeze as a surprise weapon for critical situations.

From super meta to completely off-meta, these 3 decks cover the whole wide range. There are no bad match ups and as long as you stay patient, you’ll end up winning a lot of matches with these.
So, best of luck and clash on!
