Bob Willis Trophy Table: Which county team has the maximum points in Bob Willis Trophy 2020?

Bob Willis Trophy Table: The Sportsrush presents for you the points table of the ongoing Bob Willis Trophy 2020.

The third round of the inaugural season of the Bob Willis Trophy has finished today after some hard fought games came to an end. After international cricket began in England in July, their domestic circuit got kicked-off on August 1.

In what is a refurbished format for the Bob Willis Trophy, 18 county teams have been classified into three groups namely Central Group, North Group and South Group.

At this point in time, each of the 18 teams has played three matches each. While five teams have won two out of their three matches so far, six of them have won a lone match till now.

It is worth mentioning that Tom Westley-led Essex remains the only team to won all their three matches in the Bob Willis Trophy after the third round. In their most recent match against Sussex in Hove, Essex successfully chased down a 196-run target despite falling short by 54 runs in the first innings.

Teams such as Warwickshire, Glamorgan, Northamptonshire, Nottimghamshire, Durham and Surrey still remain win-less in the tournament. As far as Surrey are concerned, they are the only team to have lost all their matches in the Bob Willis Trophy so far.

The competition is planned in such a manner that the top two (based on maximum points) out of the 18 teams will qualify for the next round, i.e., the final match.
