Duleep Trophy 2023 is set to start tomorrow with a couple of quarter-final matches. Central Zone will take on East Zone in the first match, whereas North Zone will take on North-East Zone in the second one. Some of the star names of Indian cricket will be on the field for their respective zones.

For those unversed, West Zone and South Zone are already in the semi-finals as they were the finalists last season. This tournament is important for many players as the Indian Test team may see some changes going forward. Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara has been dropped on the West Indies tour and will have a point to prove.

Batter Sarfaraz Khan has been piling up runs in domestic cricket and it will be yet another opportunity for him to break the selection door. He is a part of the West Zone side who won the title last year. The final match of the tournament will be a five-day contest and the rest of the games will be four-days affairs.
