Jonny Bairstow grabs one-handed stunner: The English wicket-keeper impressed one and all with his work behind the stumps.

During the third ODI of the ongoing Sri Lanka’s tour of England in Bristol, England wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow put on display a magnificent piece of fielding to aid Tom Curran in picking yet another wicket.
It all happened on the second delivery of the 30th over when Karunaratne edged a Curran delivery behind the stumps. With the ball traveling right between Bairstow and Joe Root at first slip, it was the wicket-keeper who dived full-length to complete a one-handed stunner.
Having made a difficult catch look easy, Bairstow played a pivotal role in dismissing the seventh Sri Lankan wicket. Karunaratne, who came in to bat at No. 8 in the 21st over, walked back to the pavilion after scoring 11 (29).
Been wicket-less in the second ODI at The Oval, Curran is the pick of the English bowlers in this match at this point in time. Apart from Karunaratne, the right-arm bowler also dismissed the likes of Oshada Fernando (18) and Wanidu Hasaranga (20).
Earlier, it was England captain Eoin Morgan who won the toss and chose to field for the third time in this series. As has been the case throughout this tour, Sri Lanka once again registered a batting collapse which currently sees them struggling after losing seven wickets before the 30th over.

This is the first time Tom Curran’s taken 3+ wickets in an ODI since May 2019, when he took four against Pakistan in the pre World Cup series. #ENGvSL
