Holkar Stadium pitch report 3rd ODI: Pitch report of Indore Cricket Stadium batting or bowling for tomorrow match

India will take on New Zealand in the 3rd match of the 3-match ODI series at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The Indian team has already won the series, and they will be looking to complete a whitewash in this very match, whereas the Kiwis will play for respect.

After registering a fighting win in the first ODI, the 2nd match was a piece of cake for the Indian team. The top-order of the side is looking in decent form at the moment, whereas the bowling unit is also looking great. Team India would look to continue their progress in this match too.

New Zealand bundled out in the last match, and this is certainly against their nature of play as they generally fight in almost every game. The batters of the side have been disappointing so far, but they can enjoy batting here at the friendly conditions in Indore.

Holkar Stadium pitch report 3rd ODI

The Holkar Stadium in Indore is set to host an ODI match after a span of more than 5 years. It is safe to say that Indore is one of the most batting-friendly tracks in the country, and the batters will again have a great time out there in the middle.

A total of 5 ODIs have been played here where the average 1st innings score here has been 309, which proves the nature of this very ground. Virender Sehwag scored his only ODI double-century at this ground only. This is a flat track, and there are no visible demons on the wicket.

The boundaries of this ground are very small, whereas the outfield is very fast as well. There is no help for the bowlers, and a high-scoring encounter is expected yet again as well. The dew factor can play a part in this match and both captains may opt to bowl upon winning the toss.
