International cricket has returned to Bangladesh after more than six months. The upcoming three-match Bangladesh-India ODI series, the first bilateral ODI series between these two teams in the last seven years, will also mark a return for this format at the Shere Bangla National Stadium after a period of 18 months.

Going to be only the fifth bilateral ODI series (all in Bangladesh) featuring these two teams, it will primarily witness the participants kick-starting preparations for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 slated to be played in India in less than a year from now.
Although India have won their last five ODIs against Bangladesh, readers must note that Bangladesh had emerged as the winners in the last series between these two neighboring countries. With India winning the first three bilateral ODI series against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma and his men would be keen to return to winning ways especially with a first-choice batting unit.

With neither of the two teams announcing their respective Playing XIs on the eve of the match, all eyes will be on the toss in Mirpur tomorrow. India, in particular, have a lot of pondering to be done with respect to zeroing in on an apt ODI Playing XI both for this series and for the near future.
India vs Bangladesh 1st ODI Live Telecast Channel in India and Bangladesh
Expected to be a hectic month for their staff, Sony Sports Network will be broadcasting India’s tour of Bangladesh 2022 in India just like the ongoing West Indies’ tour of Australia and England’s tour of Pakistan.
Unlike the other two Test series, Bangladesh vs India ODIs will be televised on three different television channels in as many as four different languages. Sony Sports 3 (Hindi), Sony Sports 4 (Tamil/Telugu) and Sony Sports 5 (English) are the channels which will be broadcasting this series. As far as an official streaming platform is concerned, Sony LIV will be streaming these matches in India with a paid subscription.
Both Gazi TV and T Sports had televised international cricket in Bangladesh earlier this year. Having said that, no official update has been provided either by these networks or by BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) with respect to this series. We will update this story whenever an official confirmation is uploaded by any of these entities.
