Mirpur stadium pitch report: India vs Bangladesh 2nd ODI Shere Bangla National Stadium pitch report tomorrow match

Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla Stadium is set to host the 2nd match of the 3-match ODI series between Bangladesh and India. Bangladesh registered a win in the first ODI, and they will be looking to do the same. The pitch was really tough to bat in the first match, and the pitch will be looked at with keen interest in this match as well.

Shakib al Hasan proved his class in the last match, and he will yet again be the most important player of the side. With his spin bowling and batting powers, the Bangladesh all-rounder would like to lead from the front. This side looks strong in the ODI format in their home conditions.

India lost the first match, and this is a do-or-die one for them. The likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will have to step up in the 2nd ODI. Team India may look to bring in the express pace of Umran Malik and the fitness of Axar Patel will also be an important issue.

Mirpur stadium pitch report

The pitch at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur is not a happy place for the batters, and it was proved in the last match as well. This is clearly visible that the batters are facing some tough times out there in the middle, and they will have to use their technique well in order to get runs.

The average 1st innings ODI score at this ground is just 229 runs, which proves that batting has been tough here. Due to cold weather, the pacers will get movement in the initial overs of the match with the new ball. In the middle overs, the pitch certainly gets slow, and the spinners will have a big part to play.

Shakib al Hasan is the highest wicket-taker at this ground with a big margin, and he will again be a big asset with the ball. The dew can play a big part in this match, and the captains will be looking to bowl first after winning the toss in this match.
