Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad Pitch Report for GT vs LKN IPL 2023 Match

The 51st match of the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League will take place between Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants tomorrow, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

With KL Rahul ruled out of this season due to injury, it will be the Pandya brothers, Krunal and Hardik, who will lead their respective sides during the day match tomorrow.

After taking the responsibility for the loss during the match against Delhi Capitals, Hardik Pandya’s Titans were as clinical as ever last night during their fixture against the Rajasthan Royals, chasing down their target with 37 balls to spare.

LSG, on the other hand, have not spent some memorable days in the past few days. While they were on the wrong side of the result during the emotionally charged-up, low-scoring contest against Royal Challengers Bangalore last Monday, their next fixture against Chennai Super Kings was washed out due to rain.

It will indeed be a crucial match for LSG, in particular, if they are to keep their position secure in the top-4. For those unaware, the Titans are yet to lose a match against them, with both the teams having faced each other thrice since their respective debut last year.

During the last day game at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Kolkata Knight Riders and GT had collectively scored over 400 runs, during which Rinku Singh has smashed those five consecutive Sixes to help his side register an improbable victory.

Although the previous match at this venue between DC and GT was a low-scoring one, the wicket was still decent enough to bat on, as admitted by Pandya post the match.

During the six IPL 2023 matches at this venue so far, the average score posted by the teams is 175.2 runs. Thus, one can expect a high-scoring contest here tomorrow in Ahmedabad.

With the dew likely to mark its presence as well, expect the captain winning the Toss to field first.
