SL vs IND Head to Head Records in ODIs | Sri Lanka vs India Stats | Colombo ODI

SL vs IND Head to Head Records: The SportsRush presents for you the Head to Head statistics for the first SL vs IND ODI.

The first ODI of the ongoing India’s tour of Sri Lanka will be played at the R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo tomorrow. With the series already getting delayed due to COVID-related reasons, all the stakeholders would be hoping for the successful execution of six white-ball matches in the next two weeks.

While there have been talks of India sending a second-string team as their first-choice players are in England, all such talks are lessened in value when compared with the hosts.

15 out of 23 Sri Lankan players selected for this series haven’t played against India in the past. Out of the eight who have faced India, their cumulative total number of matches is as low as 20.

Sri Lanka Cricket’s inconsistency in selection can be observed from the fact that they will be led by yet another new captain in Dasun Shanaka on Sunday making him the their eighth ODI captain in the last decade-and-a-half.

In addition to playing for ICC Men’s World Cup Super League points, both India and Sri Lanka would also be hoping to unearth some names with respect to their upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
