Cricketer Manish Pandey to tie the knot with Ashrita Shetty on December 2

Manish Pandey to tie the knot with Ashrita Shetty: The Indian cricketer will tie the knot with the South Indian actress in December.

India middle-order batsman Manish Pandey has been in stellar form in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. Leading Karnataka, Pandey has scored a century and four half-centuries in six innings so far played in the tournament.

Having scored 404 runs at an average of 80.80 and a strike rate of 104.39, Pandey is currently the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament.

Pandey got dropped from the limited-overs squads after the home series against West Indies last year. However, the 30-year old cricketer had made a comeback into both ODI and T20I team during the tour of West Indies in August.

Not been among the runs in West Indies, Pandey would be looking to make amends at the highest level on the back of his current form in domestic cricket.

In another development, it is reported that Pandey is all set to start a new chapter of his life. The right-hand batsman will marry actress Ashrita Shetty on December 2 in Mumbai.

If sources close to Pandey’s family are to be believed, the two-day affair will involve only close friends and relatives. It is also believed that the marriage has been slated to happen in Mumbai citing India’s home schedule.

Pandey’s next international assignment will be the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh at home in November. While the last of the three T20Is will be played in Nagpur on November 10, the first T20I of West Indies tour of India will be played on December 6 in Mumbai.

Having made her acting debut in P.H. Vishwanath’s ‘Telikeda Bolli’ (2012), Shetty was last seen in Kalaprabhu’s ‘Indrajith’ (2017).
