The Portuguese started his career with Sporting in Portugal before leaving for Manchester United and Real Madrid with whom he won multiple domestic titles and Champions Leagues. He moved to Juventus last season and added yet another league title to his name.
There have been rumours of a rift between Cristiano Ronaldo and his manager Maurizio Sarri. The Portuguese was substituted twice in consecutive games early on in the second half; the second instance of which saw Ronaldo leave the stadium before the match had even ended. However, Mendes has brushed off the rumours and has called Sarri a great coach.

Mendes then went on to claim that Cristiano Ronaldo was wronged by being snubbed for the Ballon d’Or and claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo was the best player in the history of the game and helped put Portugal and Real Madrid on the map.
“He deserved to win it at least once over the last two years. If he had still been playing for Real Madrid, he would’ve won the Ballon d’Or.
“He can win it next year. I can only say what I think, and for me it’s an injustice. Cristiano is only thinking about working and winning it next year.
