CSK's adorable birthday wish for Jadeja

CSK’s adorable birthday wish for Jadeja: The IPL franchise was seen posting an adorable wish for the Indian all-rounder.

IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings took to their Twitter handle to post an adorable birthday wish for their all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.

Jadeja, who is currently in Australia for the Test series, celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday. Jadeja has been a regular face at Chennai Super Kings since 2012. A vital member of their core group of players, Jadeja has changed the fortunes of several matches for CSK.

In the 100 matches that he has played for CSK, Jadeja has scored 915 runs at an average of 20.79 and a strike rate of 131.46. With the ball in hand, Jadeja has picked up 75 wickets at an average of 27.22 and an economy rate of 7.99.

Other than these numbers, Jadeja has saved plentiful runs and affected numerous dismissals for the franchise over the years.

For a franchise such as CSK, who are often seen posting celebratory messages for their players even during the off-season, a birthday wish for Jadeja was always on the cards.

“As you get a year younger, here’s wishing you a super duper birthday. Kindly bless us with many more winning runs off no balls and super quick spells filled with wickets,” Super Kings’ tweet read.
