Daniel James goal Vs Chelsea: Watch James score his first Premier League goal on his debut against Chelsea to make it 4-0.
Manchester United have completely thrashed Chelsea after netting 4 goals past Kepa Arrizabalaga in the first match of their league campaign.
The Red Devils dominated the second half of the match, and left no scope for the Blues to make a comeback from it, as the goal by Daniel James in the dying minutes of the game was the nail on the coffin.
On the other hand, Chelsea’s defence, which is the major concern of Frank Lampard was exploited by the Red Devils tonight, even though the latter doesn’t have enough proficiency in attack with current resources.
However, all the limelight came onto the Premier League debutant from Manchester United, Daniel James, who took on Chelsea defence by his pace and scored the goal past Kepa to make 4.
It was a glorious run by Pogba from the left flank, as he went past through whole Chelsea midfield to find James proceeding towards the 18-yard-box. Then the French international passed the ball to James.
The Welsh International went ahead with his staggering pace, but stumbled once while taking a shot, but recovered soon and took a blistering shot, which went through Emerson’s legs and was placed on the far-post and left Kepa clueless.
With this Manchester United sealed their victory over the visitors, and earned three points from the first game-day. The Red Devils’ fans would be feeling relieved, as it was one impressive performance, after a long underwhelming last campaign.
The English giants have certainly gained momentum for the league after this match and will be looking ahead for the rest of the campaign with confidence.
