Danny Welbeck injured

Danny Welbeck injured: Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck was kept out of England’s training session due to ‘precautionary measures.’

Arsenal are in a great run of form at the moment. Unai Emery’s side clinched their ninth-consecutive win in all competitions against Fulham yesterday. Lacazette and Aubameyang, both scored a brace, while Aaron Ramsey’s stunning backheel goal ensured a convincing victory for Arsenal.

Unai Emery’s side endured a poor start to their campaign, when they lost both of their opening games to Manchester City and Chelsea. Arsenal, however, are yet to drop points in the Premier League since, registering six consecutive victories.

Arsenal have also won both of their games in the Europa League, and advanced to the next round of Carabao Cup with a thumping victory over lower-league side, Brentford.

However, the club received a major blow earlier today as one of Unai Emery’s important team player, Danny Welbeck is feared injured.

Danny Welbeck injury:

Danny Welbeck played full 90 minutes for Arsenal in the midweek fixture against Qarabag in the Europa League, and came off the bench in a 5-1 win over Fulham.

But as Gareth Southgate and his side prepares for the match against Croatia in the Nations League, Danny Welbeck was kept out of the morning drills during the training session.

The Arsenal forward was absent at St. George’s Park, where the England squad had their first training session of the international break. England will play Croatia in their second Nations League match, where they aim for their first win of the tournament.

There have been no statement on the injury from FA, but Gunners fans would be hopeful of nothing serious. Unai Emery has been using Welbeck significantly ever since the head-coach arrived this season.

Arsenal will be playing Leicester City and Crystal Place in the Premier League, and Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League within 7 days. Hence, Unai Emery will be hopeful of having a full-strength squad to ensure the possibility of maximum points from the three games.

Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League table, with Manchester City at the top. However, the Gunners are only two points behind the league leaders.
