DC vs RCB Dream 11 team Predictions: IPL Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for DC vs RCB as TSR helps you make the best Dream 11 team

We are into the business end of the tournament, with RCB fighting against time to make it to the playoffs. DC surprisingly find themselves at around the top of the pile, with playoff qualification almost looking certain. One win in 3 games and DC should be through, whereas RCB need to win all three and might still not make it , because of their NRR issue.

With the game held at the Kotla, things could maybe work in RCB’s favour, as DC have had a terrible time in Delhi this season. However, with RCB too relying on flat surfaces to aid their stroke makers, things might well turn out to be in DC’s favour, who should have by now figured out their home conditions.

RCB will be without the services of Moeen Ali for this game and will need to quickly find the required balance, as they need to win all three games.

DC on the other hand don’t have to deal with any mid-season departures and hence will be able to field a settled unit.

Let’s get to business now.

DC vs RCB Dream 11 team

Wicketkeeper for DC vs RCB Dream 11 team

Normally I go in with wicketkeepers who bat higher up the order, but this time round I would be going in with Rishabh Pant over Parthiv Patel for my DC vs RCB Dream 11 team.

With the Colin Munro experiment coming to an end, Rishabh Pant is back to his rightful number 4 spot. With no more shuffling going around, Pant should be able to face a good number of balls coming in at 4. While Parthiv bats higher up the order and has been doing decently well this season, I fear for his wicket against Rabada. Pant on the other hand loves playing against RCB and doesn’t really have to face a bowler of the calibre of Rabada. Thus, I go in with Pant for this game.

Bowlers for DC vs RCB Dream 11 team

While the Kotla has been a good enough surface for bowlers, with the kind of strokemakers on display for his game, I am tempted to go in with a packed batting unit. Hence, I am not going to invest a lot into my bowlers.

Navdeep Saini would be my first bowling pick for this game, thanks to his brilliant bowling efforts all through the IPL, especially at the death. Saini’s pace has kept the batsmen at bay and has made him RCB’s most dependable seamer, even in the presence of Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Siraj.

For the next two bowling picks, I go in with spinners, largely due to the sluggish nature of the Kotla surface. Lamichanne and Amit Mishra will be my two spinners for this game. Both these DC bowlers take the ball away from the right hander and are known for their trickery and guile.

With RCB having 5 right handers in the top 7, these two DC leg spinners could really pose problems for RCB, especially Kohli and ABD, both of whom often get out to quality leg spinners.

All-Rounders for DC vs RCB Dream 11 team

With Moeen Ali back in the UK, Marcus Stoinis emerges as the biggest all-rounder in that RCB setup. He has shouldered the responsibility of using the long handle to good effect in the death overs and on current form, you just can’t leave him out from your DC vs RCB Dream 11 team.

For the second all-rounder pick, I would be going in with Washington Sundar, who has been finally drafted into the XI by Kohli. Sundar won the man of the series award in the series against Sri Lanka, but since then hasn’t been able to find a place in the Indian and the RCB setup.

I draft him in, one because of he helping me out with my cost constraints, and two because he cause trouble to Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant , Colin Ingram and Rutherford with the ball going away.

Batsmen for DC vs RCB Dream 11 team

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers would be the first two batsmen I draft into my side for this game. These two stalwarts have once again carried that RCB batting, with some impetus from Moeen in the middle and Parthiv at the top. Both Kohli and ABD know the Kotla surface well and could come help themselves to fifties if they manage to counter the spin threat from Lamichanne and Mishra.

Shikhar Dhawan has found form in the last 4 innings, playing some fluent cricket and getting DC off to the perfect start, be it in the first innings or during a tight chase. On current from, get Dhawan in at all costs.

Shreyas Iyer has played some brilliant knocks for DC at number 3, anchoring the innings to perfection and using the long handle if he sticks around till the death. For how he has been pacing his innings, get Iyer in for sure.

For the last batting pick, I would be going in with Prithvi Shaw. While Shaw hasn’t really fired after that 99, he has been there and thereabouts with the runs. Amongst all the batsmen on display, I would prefer Shaw, largely because of his batting position. On that sluggish Kotla track, you should score your runs when the ball is hard and Shaw gets the opportunity to do that.

DC vs RCB Dream 11 team Prediction: IPL Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for DC vs RCB

Captain: Virat Kohli(if RCB bat second)/ABD(if RCB bat first)
