Manchester United and Tottenham are currently engaged in a cracker of a match and there is still 45 minutes left to go in the game. Jose Mourinho’s return to the Old Trafford started in the worst possible way when keeper Gazzaniga made a mess at the near post to concede in the 6th minute itself.

Manchester United then displayed a dominance that was reminiscent of Sir Alex Ferguson’s teams of the past. Easily their best performance this season. It seemed like a matter of time before they would add to their opener. However, Dele Alli of Tottenham had other ideas.

The goal began with Heung-Min Son who showed his smarts while attempting to create an attack. Vertonghen whipped a cross to Harry Kane but the ball was flicked to Serge Aurier instead. Aurier then put the ball back into the box once again.
The ball found Alli who gathered the ball with a blinder of a touch and then showed off his masterful control as he flicked the ball past his shoulders and guided the ball past goalkeeper David De Gea into the corner of the goal.

The goal was sent to VAR who had a long look at the goal before adjudging that the goal would stand.
At the moment of writing, United and Spurs have left the pitch with the scores tied at 1-1 and 45 minutes of football left in the game. Both Manchester United and Tottenham will look to add to their scores and walk away with 3 points as the chase for the top 4 slot tightens around them.
