Diablo IV race to 100: What is this leaderboard?

According to the developers, Blizzard states that this leaderboard is created only for the best. The Diablo IV race to 100 is a challenge that even the best can fail. Be it a prominent speedrunner or a novice just testing the waters, you will have your work cut out for ya.

The challenge requires you to maximize your character level to 100 (the maximum level in-game) as soon as possible. And if you think that in itself is a challenge, then you will be blown away knowing the actual requirement.

In order to make a spot for yourself, you will need to achieve this goal in the game’s Hardcore Mode. Only the first 1000 players to achieve this goal will have their names studded on this leaderboard.

Diablo IV race to 100: How to check your ranking?

Blizzard’s rule states that the first 1000 players to reach the maximum level will earn the title of “Tempered Champion” in-game. And to top it off, these chosen ones get to feature their BattleTags on a physical Lilith statue at the Blizzard HQ. However, Blizzard gets to choose which statue will host your name engraving.

As for checking your leaderboard rank, unfortunately, there is no such thing in existence. While there are no official trackers that show your standing, a fan took up the mantle.

This dedicated fan meticulously updates every single detail to show your ranking in the leaderboard at D4Race.com. However, this list does not include every player due to the fan’s limited resources.

The first to complete the Hardcore mode challenge

Five days into the early access, a streamer going by the name cArn has already beat the challenge in Hardcore mode. This established him as an undisputed champion of champions, getting the prime position in the Lilith statue.

While cArn remains the first one to reach the top, the race is still on as there are plenty more slots up for grabs. And anybody can take this position. However, due to a lack of data, there is another way you can keep up with players who are grinding. Simply follow the #Diablo4Hardcore tag on Twitter and it will give you all the related tweets of such players.

The current top 10 players in the Diablo IV race to 100 challenge are:

  • Carn (level 100)
  • Wudijo (level 100)
  • Nugiyen (level 100)
