Liverpool fans all over India are rejoicing right now, as news has just come in that Liverpool and Feyenoord legend, Dirk Kuyt will take part in the ISL next season. The former Dutch international will join his former Liverpool team mate, John Arne Riise, in the Indian Super League.

Kuyt, who has just won the Eredivise title with Feyenoord, will be a huge coup for whichever team that eventually buys him. Kuyt is famously known for his time at Anfield, where he is still fondly remembered by the Kop.

This is huge news for the Indian Super League(as reported by SportsKeeda), as Kuyt will be included in the ever growing roster of former great players. The likes of Robert Pires, David Trezeguet, Alessandro del Piero, Nicolas Anelka, Freddie Lungberg and Helder Postiga have graced this tournament in the past.

The Dutchman has had a glittering career, which includes a world cup final appearance in 2010. Kuyt scored 51 goals for Liverpool in his time at Anfield, which includes a goal in the Champions League final in 2007.

Kuyt was part of the Liverpool team that made the Champions League final in 2007 and finished eventual runners up to Manchester United in Premier league in 2009.

While we can be sure that the Liverpool fans in the country will love to see him, the neutrals would also want to catch a glimpse of one of the most respected footballers of the last two decades.
