Divock Origi has now scored 5 premier league goals against Everton. Only Robbie Fowler and Steven Gerrard have scored more goals for Liverpool against their Merseyside rivals. Fowler has six to his name while Gerrard has 9.
With a long career still awaiting him, Origi could very well pass the legendary midfielder to became their most prolific scorer against Everton.
At the time of writing, Liverpool lead 4-2 after 60 minutes on the clock. All 6 goals have come in the first half, leaving fans with an exhilarating opening 45 minutes. Xherdan Shaqiri and Sadio Mane added to Origi’s goals while Michael Keane and Richarlison scored for Everton.
Liverpool look prime to come out victorious tonight and extend their unbeaten run this season. A win here tonight will take them 8 points clear off Leicester City, who sit at 2nd place with 35 points after beating Watford earlier in the night.
