Dwyane Wade, Who Has African Origins, is Broadcasting His Zaire Wade's Exploits in BAL Via Social Media

Dwyane Wade is one of the few NBA athletes who are American but proudly acknowledge their African heritage. Wade is from Congo and while he may have never played for them, looks like his son Zaire just might.

The young Flash is playing in the BAL this season and Dwyane could not be more proud. Zaire Wade is playing for the Cape Town Tigers and he just put up 9 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds in the game. Along with 1 steal and 1 block.

An all-round impact maker, it looks as though Zaire is finding his feet. But Dad Dwyane already likes what he sees. He might secretly be hoping that his son finds the form he needs and makes a transition to the NBA one day.

All of this was at his first game!

Zaire Wade’s potential is evident in his first game in the BAL

For the curious bunch, Zaire’s game was his first, his debut in the league. Dwyane posted a couple of stories on his Instagram account. One was of his son making a tough contested layup.

The other was simply the scoreline. With the league gaining some popularity thanks to his advertisement, it looks like Dwyane’s aim is to broadcast his son’s exploits in hopes that the NBA might give it a glance.

Of course, big names are always attractive and this could be one of the ways to do it. Whilst, there is no undue pressure on Zaire, it feels as though the push to come to the league in some capacity might be on.

Dwyane Wade and Zaire Wade’s relationship

Dwyane Wade has been vocal about his close relationship with his son, Zaire. He has spoken openly about the importance of being a present and supportive parent to his children. This comes due to the fact that he grew up without a father. Wade has been an active and engaged father to Zaire. He has actively supported him throughout his career by attending his basketball games and offering guidance.

Dwyane has been Zaire’s pillar of support as he navigates his own basketball career. Zaire has also expressed his admiration and appreciation for his father. He has stated that he looks up to him not only as a basketball player but as a role model and mentor.

Their relationship serves as a powerful example of the bond between a father and son and the impact that positive parenting can have on a child’s life.
