Egyptian Goalkeeper Mahmoud Gal has become an overnight sensation after a video of him making a last-ditch diving save went viral on the internet. With most of his players ahead, Gal came out of the box to put the ball away with his head.

However, the ball found the opposition who hit the ball accurately on the volley towards the empty net. For the slightest of moment, it seemed inevitable that the ball would find the back of the net. However, the 22-year old sprinted back in time to launch another dive and palm the ball out of harms way.
