The 12th match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between England and Bangladesh at Cardiff tomorrow. With both teams coming on the back of losing their last individual matches, they would be looking to make the much-needed amends to attain winning momentum.
While Bangladesh have played exceedingly well in their first two matches, the focus would be more on hosts England. Citing their reputation and recent record in England, not many expect them to lose a few matches in this tournament.
ENG vs BAN Dream 11 Prediction
Wicket-keepers for ENG vs BAN Dream 11
My wicket-keepers for today’s match include both England wicket-keeper Jos Buttler and England wicket-keeper Mushfiqur Rahim. The primary advantage of having two wicket-keepers is that I might get some additional points from their duties behind the stumps as well.
Albeit in a losing effort, Buttler had scored an awe-inspiring century against Pakistan to continue his rich ODI returns. His home average of 51.68 and strike rate of 121.90 are enough for me to name him in my Dream11 Fantasy team.
On the other hand, Rahim was Bangladesh’s highest run-scorer during their victory over South Africa. Batting at No. 4, Rahim is likely to spend more time on the crease. Thus, working well for my fantasy team. Get him in!
Batsmen for ENG vs BAN Dream 11
England opening batsman Jason Roy also finds a spot in my Dream11 team. Expected to go after the bowling attack from the word go, Roy should be able to fetch me (at least) a decent amount of points. It is worth mentioning that Roy has scored a century and a half-century in the four matches which he has played at Sophia Gardens.

Much like Buttler, even Root scored a brilliant century against Pakistan at Trent Bridge. The in-form batsman, who is usually good against the spinners, is highly likely of coming good for you today.
Bangladesh opening batsman Soumya Sarkar has played a couple of praiseworthy innings at the top of the order in the tournament so far. Having watched his batting in both the matches, one gets the feeling of a big innings coming his way anytime soon. At 8.5 credits, the southpaw is a must-have in your today’s team!
All-rounders for ENG vs BAN Dream 11
England all-rounder Ben Stokes having an opportunity to play a significant role in both the innings makes him another automatic selection in my team. If Stokes replicates his brilliance from the tournament opener, expect him to not just win the match for England but for you as well!
I have also picked another English all-rounder in Moeen Ali. Considering the presence of three left-handed batsmen in Bangladesh’s top-order, one might see Ali getting to bowl with the new ball. The same might even aid him in making inroads into their batting lineup.
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is not just in my team as a player but will lead the side as well (if Bangladesh bats well). The experienced all-rounder is expected to thrive in a match against England.
Bowlers for ENG vs BAN Dream 11
Out of my three bowlers, two are specialist fast bowlers. In England’s Jofra Archer and Bangladesh’s Mohammad Saifuddin, I have a couple of pacers who have it in them to dent the opposition’s batting lineup. Few might argue regarding picking Saifuddin over Mustafizur Rahman, but the former’s better numbers in this tournament have made me make this decision.
The only specialist spinner in my squad is Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Bowling against the likes of Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali, Miraz will take the ball away from them, causing them a trouble or two. Given the discipline with which he has bowled today, the 21-year old off-spinner is anticipated to yield positive results for you today.
Captain:
If England bats first – Jos Butter.
If Bangladesh bats first – Shakib Al Hasan.
