ERO vs WH Dream11 Team Predictions: Edmonton Royals step out today with the agenda of saving themselves from further embarrassment.

Having failed to have registered a single win in four encounters saw Edmonton Royals become the first team to crash out of the second edition of the Global T20 Canada league. It’s been a horrendous campaign for the side who have looked clearly bereft of ideas across their stay in the league, being decimated in all the matches they have stepped out to the middle.
And with their fate having been sealed ahead of today’s encounter, for Edmonton Royals, their clash against Winnipeg Hawks today is all about trying to overturn the predicament the side has been enraptured in. It’s a clash where the side will be looking to come out and play freely for once as they look to finally open their account on the fifth time of trying.
Elsewhere for Winnipeg Hawks, today’s encounter holds massive ramifications. With the two wins and two defeats in four clashes, the side see themselves occupying the last qualifying spot, one they’ll be looking to make their own come today’s second match of the day.
With the side knowing that they won’t be accorded with a better opportunity to seal the berth on whose cusp they are sitting on at the moment, expect them to dole out a performance of note.

Pitch Conditions and Toss
Despite this being the second encounter of the day, don’t expect it to deter the fine batting conditions which are going to be prevelant in abundance here. This is a pristine batting surface, one which will see the batsmen peel of the runs at will and put on a massive score. It’s a surface cut out for chasing and the side winning the toss will be clearly be choosing to field first here.
Dream 11 Picks
Wicket-keepers
He has failed to impress till now, majorly due to his lower spot in the batting order but we are going to go with Anshuman Rath as our wicket-keeper for this one. The Royals batting line-up is one where he’ll get more than enough overs to come out and bat in the death overs and paired with his role with the gloves, he could get some good points for our side.

Batsmen
The only batsman from the Royals who has at the least bit look bothered in putting up runs on the scoreboard has been Faf du Plessis. He came up with a half-century for his side the last time around they played against Montreal Tigers with his 55 taking the team’s score past 150.
Scoring 89 in 48 balls as his side went onto successfully chase down the massive 217 run target set by Toronto Nationals for them, we are bringing in opener Chris Lynn from Edmonton Royals. With 43 in that particular encounter, the side’s second opener, Shaiman Anwar comes in as well with us envisaging the two putting on a good partnership for the side today.
All-rounders
Given the dearth of specialist batsmen from either side, our all-rounders’ facet is the most heavily filled one with us roping in four players over here. We are going ahead with Dwayne Bravo and JP Duminy from Edmonton Royals with both becoming players we have to indulge in despite them having had average outings in the league till now.
Bravo in particular is someone who will get his 4 overs with the ball along with occupying a relatively decent position in the batting order, seeing him fulfil all the demands we look for in an all-rounder. And a player akin to him is Royals’ Ben Cutting, perhaps the most influential performer of the side till now.
He’s paired alongside James Neesham, another mainstay of his side and a name who the side will be banking on massively to emulate his CWC showings if the side are to have any chance of winning this win.
Bowlers
It’s a duo we are bringing in from Winnipeg Hawks given the paper thin nature of the Royals batting unit. They have crumbled shambolically at times with their batting order failing to show the requisite application and technique needed to score runs. Irfan and Muhamad Umair Ghani are our picks from the side while from the Royals we have opted for Kyle Phillip to complete our Dream 11 side.
