Ever Banega to Arsenal

Ever Banega has been admired by Unai Emery and Arsenal manager wants him at Emirates.

Ever Banega’s transfer to Arsenal takes another twist as the Argentine is keen to move to London. The Sevilla midfielder rejected any sorts of approach during the summer window, but it is believed that the 29-year-old is keen to be reunited with his former manager.

When the Gunners boss was asked about the midfielder Aaron Ramsey who is on the verge on leaving to Juventus as a free agent after his contract expiry with the London outfit, the Spaniard said that he is happy with the Welsh International’s commitment despite struggling to agree to a contract with him.

“It’s an individual situation rather than the team. My idea and focus, I say to him every day, is that we need his performance for us. In the last match I was very happy with him.  I asked in the last match at Blackpool if he is okay to help us play and he said, ‘Yeah, coach, I want to play’ and he played with a very big behaviour and commitment to us.

“After, his future belongs to him, his family and agent. Every day he’s here with us, he’s working very well. I want his behaviour and his focus to be on West Ham on Saturday.”

The Gunners boss eyes Ever Banega as an ideal replacement for Aaron Ramsey who is said to depart after this season.

According to Estadio Deportivo, it is understood that Banega has received a lucrative offer from the Gunners worth 7 million euros per years and a three year deal with an option to make it four.

It is an offer which Banega sees as too good to turn down. There is no reason why the deal would not happen if the Arsenal gaffer is backed with the money in the January transfer window as the player and manager want to be reunited.

Besides Ever Banega, Arsenal are also keeping an eye on Barcelona’s Denis Suarez and Belgian International Yannick Carrasco who is currently plying his trade with Dalian Yifang. Any deal around 20 million would enough to seal any of these three players who are open to a move to the Emirates.

Arsenal will travel to Olympic Stadium to play West Ham United on Saturday in an early kick-off as they prepare to fight for a spot in the top four.
