Aston Martin Valkyrie will make its much-anticipated debut in Le Mans in 2025. The astonishing piece of work designed by Adrian Newey will send the British team back into the scene of World Endurance Racing as Lawrence Stroll and his team, as per DAZN, want to conquer it along with the F1 dreams.
The British automotive giants are rich in racing history and will return to the tracks of Le Mans to take on manufacturers such as Toyota, Ferrari, and Peugeot in the hypercar class. Admittedly, Aston Martin are not new when it comes to racing, as the company started on a race track 110 years ago.

Furthermore, Stroll’s team won the Le Mans in 1959 with the DBR1 and won 19 times ever since. Now, with Ferrari’s return to the sport and their win recently, the Le Mans received mega exposure worldwide. Therefore, Stroll is unlikely to think twice before having a go at the Endurance Racing category.
As Aston Martin enters WEC, Lawrence Stroll is hopeful
Stroll, the Aston Martin chairman, has recently opened up on his Le Mans ambitions and said that he is tremendously excited to get back to fighting for Le Mans. He is also hopeful that his team can pull off a win when Valkyrie takes on the track amid the rumors of him selling the team.
Talking about this, the chairman of the British team said, as per DAZN, “We won Le Mans in 1959 with our DBR1 and have won 19 times since then with our various Vantage and front-engine sports cars, so we are tremendously excited to get back into the fight at Le Mans.”
Valkyrie. Designed to do battle.

Stroll further added, “We are definitely going to win. Like everything we do, we have always tried to win.” However, things don’t look easy for Aston Martin even if they arrive in the competition with the stunning Valkyrie.
Can Aston Martin succeed with Valkyrie?
According to a report published by Autocar, Aston Martin’s contender for the series is Valkyrie AMR Pro, which was initially designed keeping in mind the Le Mans. It will have a power of 670 horsepower by keeping the LMh balance of performance regulations in mind. This is all set to give Lawrence Stroll’s team an extra edge due to its aerodynamic ability.
As Stroll and his team are all set to return to World Endurance Racing in 2025, their biggest rival can be Ferrari, who made headlines after they decided to return to the sport in 2021. The Prancing Horse also raised eyebrows with their latest win at 24 Hours of Le Mans.
All in all, succeeding in Le Mans would also be a huge boost as well as advancement for Aston Martin after their recent F1 resurgence. This would also be very beneficial for Lawrence Stroll from a business perspective.
