Michael Masi’s decision lost Lewis Hamilton his 8th title

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen were involved in a ferocious title in the 2021 season. This was one of a kind championship season that went on until the last lap of the 2021 season finale.

Hamilton was leading the race until a late safety car found its way to the track after Nicholas Latifi crashed. After the insider’s revelations, the Business F1 columnist revealed that drink or drug test have never been a part of the race control. Masi’s ‘human error’ was categorised under more cigarettes rather than normal.
