Everything was not always as prim and proper as it is today. Infamous for being the rich man’s sport, it’s really no surprise that members of the F1 Piranha Club had business with Jeffrey Epstein.
While the nature of their interactions and the discussions made remained uncertain, one thing is for sure- whatever their relationship was, it was enough to warrant their names in Eptein’s infamous black book.
The book remains a symbol of immense wealth that was featured in the millionaire’s inner circle. It’s no surprise then, that names from the pinnacle of motorsport feature on this list.
Lawrence Stroll, Bernie Ecclestone lead F1 names on Jeffrey Epstein’s book
Aston Martin’s financial savior Lawrence Stroll finds himself in this book, with F1 megalomanic Bernie Ecclestone and Renault team boss Flavio Briatore. Additionally, F1 champion Jacques Villeneuve and Ferrari star Eddie Irvine were the drivers on the list. Away from F1, Alejandro Agag, a Formula E boss, and Alain de Cadenet, a British Le Mans driver were also in the book.
Lawrence S. Stroll is listed in Epstein’s black book on page 79. Epstein recorded 17 phone numbers and 2 addresses under this name. The main address for this entry is in New York, US. A billionaire Ferrari dealer, a fashion business tycoon, and an F1 mogul, Stroll’s wallets run deep.
Lawrence Stroll was at a Financial Times event this week and revealed two crazy stats:
• 70% of Aston Martin’s $1.75 billion in annual sales are because of the F1 team
• The company has sold 300+ Vantage F1 edition cars ($60 million) because of their partnership as the F1… pic.twitter.com/uygC03ZVEA
