In the latest development, Lewis Hamilton has revealed the proudest accomplishment of his life. The Mercedes star said that winning the 2008 F1 world championship has been the “most significant moment” of his life.
Speaking about it in a recently published Design District magazine, Hamilton mentioned the controversial championship when asked to talk about his ‘proudest accomplishment.’ The seven-time world champion also regards the championship as his father’s, who has been a steadfast support for the superstar.

On this, the 38-year-old stated that his father, Anthony Hamilton, had been by his side from his early karting days. He worked multiple jobs to pay for his travel and repairs in order to allow his son to follow his dream around Europe.
Hamilton Sr. went to an extent when he had to sleep on the sofa to help his son accomplish greatness. By stating this, the Silver Arrows ace claimed that it was his father’s championship as well and he was happy that he could have his father beside him when he became the best in the world.

The Stevenage-born driver regards winning the seventh F1 world title as a special achievement for him. The Briton won his much-coveted title back in 2020 and with that, he reached an indomitable milestone.
Talking about this, he said that when he was young he couldn’t have believed anyone told him that he’ll reach the same level as Michael Schumacher. He also revealed that he didn’t dare to dream this big back when he was young.
