Lumberjack Valtteri Bottas Sports $110 Classic Shirt on Media Day Ahead of the Canadian GP

Valtteri Bottas has been known for being a fan of quirky and old-school fashion statements. His hairstyle and clothing have been adored by fans for a long time now, and his recent attire at the 2023 Canadian GP has once again caught the eyes of the F1 community.

On media day ahead of a race weekend, often, the eyes are always on Lewis Hamilton. When it comes to fashion, no one on the grid is as passionate as him. He wears some of the most stylish clothes available on the market. This time, however, it was Hamilton’s former teammate Bottas.

Bottas, a fan of nature and spending time in the wild, decided to dress up as a lumberjack. This particular shirt, however, isn’t a limited edition garment or special in any way. In fact, fans can get their hands on this quite easily.

Valtteri Bottas impersonates a lumberjack in the Canadian GP paddock

Valtteri Bottas took to his Instagram account to post pictures of him wearing a blue and black chequered shirt. This he sported while arriving at the paddock for media day, ahead of the Canadian GP this Thursday.

This shirt is available for sale on Code Zero and is part of a collaboration with Alfa Romeo’s F1 team. It also has Bottas’ own logo on the chest, which is a nice touch for fans of the Finnish driver, if they choose to buy it.

On the website, the price of this shirt is $110, and has been described as a part of his ‘lumberjack’ collection. ‘With the subtle Valtteri Bottas logo on the chest, it proudly shows your affiliation with one of Formula 1’s most successful drivers,’ says the website about this shirt.

Alfa Romeo star Bottas’ season so far

Compared to his start to life at Alfa Romeo in 2022, Bottas’ season so far has been quiet. The Hinwil-based outfit’s car isn’t as strong as it was at this stage last year. Hence, the 33-year-old is struggling to get into the points.

After spending five seasons with Mercedes and winning 10 races, Bottas is getting a different taste of F1 at Alfa Romeo. But so far, he seems to be enjoying himself. Bottas is also playing the role of a mentor to his young teammate Zhou Guanyu, who has been impressive so far in his short F1 career.

Bottas is currently 14th in the championship standings with four points to his name. Zhou, too, is on four points in P15 at the moment. Both drivers will be hoping for a decent points haul at the Canadian GP this weekend.
