Rap song dedicated to Valtteri Bottas reached 1 million views on YouTube under 24 hours

Valtteri Bottas has become a hugely popular figure within the F1 community over the last few years. He uses his social media accounts to share funny videos and images about his daily life with his fans and they seem to love it. Now, it seems that his popularity has also grown away from the world of F1 after a song dedicated to him smashed records immediately upon its release.

F1 stars are some of the most popular athletes in the world. Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton is the most perfect example of that. He has made his mark in other fields as well, having made several friends in the entertainment, fashion, and sports industry. However, the fact that a song about Hamilton’s former teammate Bottas, sung by an American rapper would become so viral in such a short time span has really surprised fans.

Arcangel, who is a Spanish-speaking rapper, released a song on his YouTube channel titled ‘Bottas‘. In just under 24 hours, the video had over a million views, and the song became viral on social media. It features Bottas’ name on the chorus, and fans are enjoying this extremely unlikely crossover.

However, this is not the first time a song about an F1 driver became a hit. El Jhota & Camin released a song dedicated to 2-time World Champion Fernando Alonso two years ago, and that has over 8 million views on YouTube.

Valtteri Bottas will make his Race of Champions debut in Sweden next year

Bottas was set to make his Race of Champions debut in 2022 alongside Mika Hakkinen, representing team Finland. Unfortunately for him and his fans, he wasn’t able to make it to Pite Havsbad for the event.

However, this year, Bottas once again revealed his desire to join Hakkinen for the 2023 RoC. It will be taking place on the 28th and 29th of January in Pite Havsbad, and the lineup features some of the most exciting drivers in motorsport today.

“I’m really looking forward to being able to make my Race Of Champions debut at last,” he said.

Sebastian Vettel, who retired from F1 earlier this year will also be part of the event. He was a runner up in last year’s RoC and the winner of the 2015 installment.
