Lewis Hamilton and Angela Cullen ended their much-adored partnership earlier this season after being together for seven years. However, in an interview with L’Equipe, Hamilton admitted that he is thinking of getting back together with Cullen.
Cullen joined Hamilton’s team as his physiotherapist back in 2016. Over the years, they became inseparable, forming a very close bond. Even though Cullen started as Hamilton’s physio, her role developed into that of a personal assistant. Throughout the course of a race weekend, she tended to all of Hamilton’s needs to make his life easier.
Personally, she became one of Hamilton’s closest friends and spent a lot of time together off-track performing different activities. As a result, when Hamilton announced that they would be separating, the entire F1 community was shocked. Now, however, Hamilton admits to missing her and reportedly wants her back in his team.
Lewis Hamilton wants to get together with Angela Cullen again
When Angela Cullen and Lewis Hamilton ended their seven-year partnership, fans were positively surprised. Initially, it was believed that there was an ongoing rift between the two. However, both Cullen and Hamilton insisted that there was nothing wrong. They vowed to still see each other and that relationship had only ended in F1.
Recently, however, Hamilton revealed that he misses seeing Cullen every day. Not getting to spend time with her during an F1 weekend has affected him, and he opened up about the same with L’Equipe.
#F1: Lewis Hamilton on Angela Cullen: “Me and Ange are good. She’s moving on to a different phase in her life. We’re still super-close and we have been texting every day. She’s massively supportive and I’m massively supportive of her.”

“She was a breath of fresh air for me every day,” said Hamilton. “She was always a great help during the seven years we worked together. [She] was and still is a very good friend. In fact, we’re talking about getting together again and doing something together soon, like parachute jumping, maybe.”
Cullen still sends Hamilton positive messages of good luck before races
Even though Cullen has stopped accompanying Hamilton to races, she hasn’t stopped following the seven-time world champion’s journey. Earlier this year, we saw her post inspirational messages, wishing good-luck to Hamilton ahead of several race weekends.
