“What a Dipsh*t”: Karun Chandhok Faced Wrath of F1 Twitter After Recent Controversial Imola GP Tweet

In the latest development, Karun Chandhok has faced massive wrath from the internet after his recent tweet on Imola GP. The F1 expert who put his view on the canceled race and its aftermath has been the subject of a huge backlash from part of F1 Twitter.

This has come after the former F1 driver put replied to a user’s suggestion on Twitter. The Sky Sports expert replied to a tagged post where the entire Sky Sports team was tagged in order to shed light on the Imola charity after its cancelation.

The user named Dr. Obbs tagged Sky Sports along with all its leading commentators, namely Karun Chandhok, Natalie Pinkham, Martin Brundle, David Croft, and Bernie Collins, and this was when Chandhok commented.

The former Indian driver, in his reply, wrote, “Or we could have a weekend off and remind our children we exist?” However, as soon as Chandhok made the comment, which has now been deleted, soon began to receive backlash.

How did the fans react?

Once Chandhok shared his thoughts, it wasn’t too late to undo anything as he began to see the wrath of fans who found his comment distasteful.

An account named Barstool Formula, called the F1 expert a “dipsh*t” and went on to ditch his career.

Followed by this, there was San Keanu de Firulais, who revealed why Chandhok isn’t liked much.

A user named Gyshaka Davidca, looked to have petitioned against the former driver to relief him from his work.

Furthermore, a fan named Ani had some words for Karun Chandhok…

The Imola GP cancellation and its aftermath

After heavy rainfall in the northern Italian region, F1 and its relative authority, after discussing with all the teams, decided to call off the 2023 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Even though there were talks of its rescheduling, in the end, it was canceled for this season. With the GP already being canceled, teams and personnel have shifted their focus to charity, rescue, and relief operations.

As per Yahoo News UK, the rescue operation is in full swing. So far, thousands of people have been relocated, and 13 people have been confirmed dead. To help rescue and relief, Scuderia Ferrari has donated $1 million to the concerned authority.
