Red Bull reserve driver Daniel Ricciardo’s iconic ‘shoey’ celebration is going places around the world. This time, it went to wrestling touching the soul of WWE NXT superstar Grayson Waller.

The wrestling world had an upset when Grayson Waller won the Men’s Inaugural Survivor Series match during the NXT Deadline. This event was new as WWE moved WarGames to the survivor series.

The journey of Daniel Ricciardo’s shoey celebration

Daniel Ricciardo’s shoey celebration is something every Formula One fan enjoys watching. It has been a year since the Australian driver won the race and the celebration was up on the podium.

Ricciardo won the 2021 Italian Grand Prix in Monza, something he will forever cherish despite a difficult time with McLaren. Unable to compete against Lando Norris, Zak Brown replaced him with Oscar Piastri.

With no other team willing to pay the asking price, Ricciardo will not be driving in an F1 race in 2023. Instead, this is a good time for the driver to explore other sports and come back all prepared for the 2024 season.

Many celebrities and sports personalities got a chance to do the celebration. Grayson Waller with three pinfalls to his name secured the dominant victory against Carmelo Hayes, Axiom, and JD McDonagh.

Right after an amazing wrestling match, Waller took off his wrestling gear shoe and poured beer on it. As a fellow Australian, he continued the tradition by drinking from the shoe and dancing around cheering the fans.
