Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 19 Double Gameweek Tips: Transfers, Picks And Captaincy Choices

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 19 Double Gameweek Tips: Transfers, Picks And Captaincy Choices: The first double gameweek of the season finally makes a foray into the game

With matches being curtailed owing to the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and an outbreak of Coronavirus cases, gameweek 19 of the Premier League sees a multitude of matches being conducted.

In a bid to compensate for the truncated and postponed bygone fixtures, the league will finally feature its first double gameweek. Its lead to a clamour of transfers in FPL with players assiduously working to craft out their best playing combinations.

Transfers, Picks And Captaincy Choices

Goal-Keeper

Lukasz Fabianski, 5.1 million

Playing against Burnley and West Brom in gameweek 19, West Ham’s goal-keeper could easily end up staving both the clubs to script together two cleansheets on the bounce.

Defenders

Vladimir Coufal, 4.7 million

The fullback will be joining up with his shot stopper for the day’s clash. Its not only down to the likelihood of a cleansheet but also given his searing runs which have seen him provide unbridled support to the side’s attacking plays.

John Stones, 5 million

With three cleansheets in his last five matches including a goal in the Carabao Cup semi-final, City’s Stones has truly rekindled a languishing career at the club.

Andrew Robertson, 7.4 million

Liverpool’s most immaculate performer this season, the fullback has been an electric player for the side this term. Not only has he parried away attacks but has provided his side with succulent support in their attacks.

Midfielders

Kevin de Bruyne, 11.8 million

Why Kevin de Bruyne didn’t take the penalty he won against Brighton is inexplicable. He should be back on penalty duties this time around and with three goals and eight assists, he makes for a must have pick.

Mohamed Salah, 12.5 million

Liverpool’s downtick in form has been massively due to Salah’s wavering form. However, he did manage to score in the FA Cup, a goal which instils in him the much needed confidence to add to his 13 goals.

Phil Foden, 6.3 million

He’s risen in rise and rightfully so as well. It was only prudent for the player’s ownership to rise with him scoring in three successive encounters for the club including the club’s winning goal against Brighton.

Bruno Fernandes, 11.3 million

He doesn’t have the easiest of matches but with 12 goals already this season, the midfielder’s two matches this round of matches see him make his way in our side.

Hakim Ziyech, 8.1 million

Getting the go ahead finally after recovering from an injury, Ziyech provides a floundering Chelsea outfit just the needed shot in the arm in the attacking setup.

Strikers

Jamie Vardy, 10.1 million

He faces two tricky ties but Jamie Vardy can easily end up scoring in both of them. The striker has already thumped home the 10 goals to see him be instilled in our framework.

Michail Antonio, 6.2 million

With Haller having departed, Antonio will be asked to spearhead West Ham’s attack in every fixture. And with the club up against two lowly placed outfits, the player could go on a rampage this time around.

Captaincy Choice

Both Salah and Kevin make for intriguing picks but we’ll be swaying the wind in Kevin’s favour.
