Fantasy Premier League Tips: Five bargain buys for the 2019/20 season

We shall look for top five bargain buys in the Fantasy Premier League for the upcoming season.

Fantasy Premier League (FPL)  has grown drastically over the last few years, with millions taking part to win the contest.

Normally, fans spend money on integral players, who are the core of the team. Later, they go for budget players who can thrive on a consistent basis and aid points. To win the league, points need to be spread throughout the team week in week out. It is essential to get the right players to perform at the highest level.

We shall look at the five players, who could prove to be bargain buys for the upcoming season.

Vicente Guaita – Crystal Palace (£5):

Vicente Guaita is a fantastic point hunter. He makes plenty of saves and keeps clean sheets on a consistent basis. From 20 premier league games, the Spanish International managed to shut down their opponents on eight occasions.

Besides, Roy Hodgson’s formidable defence means that the opponents won’t have joy in front of the goal. The likes of Alisson Becker and Ederson Moraes will get you points on a weekly basis, but Guaita will be a great differential if some top keepers fail to show the reminiscence of last season.

Max Aarons –  Norwich City (£4.5):

Max Aarons is an excellent full-back with a capability to light up the Premier League at the age of 19. The right-back was immense in the defensive and offensive part of the game for the Canaries and there are high chances of getting numerous bonus points.

Similar to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Max Aarons is a tireless worker in both ends of the pitch. He bagged two assists and six assists last campaign, thereby becoming a cardinal player for Norwich. The English International will be a great long-term option.

Andriy Yarmolenko – West Ham United (£6.0):

Andriy Yarmolenko and West Ham United had a horrendous start to last Premier League campaign, but picked up their game as days passed by. The Ukranian International scored two and assisted two from nine games last season until picking up a knee injury. However, he has the chances of picking up his game with better supply.

With the likes of Sebastian Heller, Manuel Lanzini, Felipe Anderson, and Jack Wilshere, there will be no shortage of goals for the Hammers. Manuel Pellegrini is known for his attacking methodology and Yarmolenko will have a key role to play.

Joao Moutinho – Wolverhampton Wanderers (£5.5):

Joao Moutinho was the best midfielder for Wolverhampton Wanderers last season. Since Ruben Neves acts as the orchestrator, his compatriot links up with the forwards by making plenty of runs.

The Portuguese international scored one and assisted eight times last season. He was an important player from the middle of the pitch for the Wolves, who have a strong frontline consisting Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota. For £5.5, Moutinho is worth the value.

Teemu Pukki – Norwich City (£6.5):

Teemu Pukki is the main source of goals for Norwich City. The 29-year-old scored 29 goals in the Championship last season and he will be the first-choice striker at the club.

Having plied his trade with Sevilla and Schalke in the European top divisions before, Pukki does not have a shortage of experience. Since he has good creativity around him, Teemu will be expected to shine in a similar way he did last season. For every Glenn Murray and Chris Wood for the same price, Pukki will prove to be a good buy too.
