FPL Gameweek 4 Tips : After a solid start to life in FPL 2019-20, The SportsRush crafts its side for the upcoming gameweek 4

With the newest campaign of the Premier League three gameweeks old now, we’ve started being offered insight into how this campaign could prospectively shape up for the 20 partaking teams. With a slew of matches already contested amongst the top 6 outfits and gameweek 3 throwing our way several surprises, one narrative which is certain is that this promises to be an intriguing season.

And that script dishes our way several enticing and viable Fantasy Premier League options as well, players to indulge in not only due to their certainty to divulge in a plethora of points but also given their relatively low ownership. With 64 points in gameweek 3, we’ve had a healthy start to life in FPL, taking our overall tally to a steady 203 points.

Perched in a neat position at the moment, we make an advent into the impending gameweek 4 looking to continue our ascendancy in the ranks. It’s seen us go ahead with two transfers, incurring our first double transfer of this season, one which sees us rope in two new strikers in our attacking facet. Ahead of the upcoming gameweek, we present our FPL side for this weekend along with brining forward our opted for formation and captain’s pick.

FPL Gameweek 4 Tips : Goal-Keeper

Mathew Ryan, 4.6 million

He faces Manchester City away and is bound to concede goals in this one with a cleansheet far from sight in this one but the Brighton shot stopper is a safe pair of hands. He’s revered for his articulate saves and ability to get down low and pull off several well cured saves, seeing us repose faith in him owing to the prospective of him serenading a good amount of saves.

FPL Gameweek 4 Tips : Defenders

Trent Alexander-Arnold, 7 million

Liverpool continue to long for their first cleansheet of the season, conceding a goal each in their opening three encounters but Trent Alexander-Arnold is someone who has served us fruitfully till now. He’s come up with two assists, the one each against Norwich and Arsenal and with him on corner duty as well as taking a couple of freekicks as well, the Liverpool rightback offers the enticing identity of coming up with another attacking contribution.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, 5.5 million

Similar to Liverpool’s defence, apart from the opening week, the reigning champions have failed to shut out the opposition either. However with the side up against Brighton at home this time around, a cleansheet becomes a very realistic likelihood for the hosts. Expect him to come up with all the six points in this clash along with a likely sneaky assist as well.

John Lundstram, 4.2 million

Our weakest component of our backline with his side facing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this gameweek, we decided o select him ahead of Lewis Dunk due to his role as a CDM for the side. He scored for the side in gameweek 2 and with Chelsea’s defence yet to find its identity, Sheffield might just muster up another goal in this clash with Lundstram possible of finding himself involved in it.

FPL Gameweek 4 Tips : Midfielders

Raheem Sterling, 12.3 million

He’s scored in every match till now for Manchester City, seeing him score five goals from 3 encounters and up against Brighton who leaked in two against Southampton, we envision Raheem Sterling getting a rich bagful of goals in this one as well. He’s one of our highest expected points amassing player for this gameweek and should be heavily involved in City’s attacking soirees.

Mohammed Salah,12.5 million

The most transferred out player last gameweek, we ensured we didn’t make the mistake of transferring out Liverpool’s rightwinger after one bad gameweek. FPL is a long term game, one which requires faith and reposing trust in players and Salah’s two goals against Arsenal in the main match of the weekend was a testament to our narrative.

With Liverpool facing Burnley this weekend, Salah could find it tricky to score but given Liverpool’s exemplary attacking gameplan, expect him to come up with atleast a goal or assist today.

Mason Mount, 6.2 million

We picked up the Chelsea midfielder last gameweek for just 6 million and with his second goal on the bounce in as many matches, hs pick proved to be an excellent one for us. Ever since then his ownership has rocketed to 14.5% with people brining him in as not only an excellent goal scoring option but a player who helps clear up funds elsewhere as well.

With Sheffield United at home this weekend, expect him to register yet another colossal points tally.

Lucas Torreira, 4.9 million

One of the two players to have dropped in price, the Arsenal CDM is yet to start a game for the side this season but after scoring his side’s sole goal in a 3-1 trouncing by Liverpool, he makes an advent into our side. They face Tottenham this weekend, a side against whom Torreira scored his first goal for the club last year and could very well maraud his way forward to score again today.

FPL Gameweek 4 Tips : Strikers

Sergio Aguero, 12 million

With two goals against Bournemouth, Sergio Aguero ended up making our mind for his selection. He’s scored in three successive matches despite only starting one and with him certain to start this one as well given his wondrous display in the last one, the Manchester city striker was too tempting to not opt for.

Teemu Pukki, 7 million

Sitting in the echelons of the league standings for top goal scorers with the 5 goals in his kitty, Norwich’s Teemu Pukki promises to be FPL gold quarry this season. His initial price of 6.5 million has already escalated all the way to 6.5 million and with the side facing off against West Ha in gameweek 4, we just couldn’t keep him out of our side any longer.

Raul Jimenez, 7.4 million

Although their Europa League travails have clearly started telling on Wolverhampton with the club only one of the two sides to yet register a win in the newest edition of the league, the side’s attacking exuberance can’t be neglected. They are one of the most progressive sides in Europe and with Jimenez scoring a late penalty against Burnley the last time around, he should be the likeliest player to score once again for the side against Everton.

Captain’s Choice

We are reverting to our preferred 3-4-3 formation for this one with Sergio Aguero our undoubtable pick for captain while Mount is picked out as the vice-captain.

We would love for you to revel into our Fantasy Premier League, The SportsRush League and engage in a season long soiree. League Code- yth7jc
