Hu Tao is known for overseeing the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. However, apart from her responsibilities, she also has a talent for poetry.

Additionally, Hu Tao is cheerful among her peers and likes to prank people instead of sitting and doing nothing. How to obtain

Like every other character in Genshin Impact, players must unlock her by wishing on her event banner, “Blossoming Moment.” However, it can only be done when a rerun happens for this particular banner. Players must spend 160 Primogems to get one wish, but spending 1600 Primogems to get ten wishes drastically improves the chances.

Crimson Witch of Flames (4 pieces): Gives a 15% boost on pyro damage, increasing overloaded and burning damage by 40%. Additionally, For 10 seconds, the Elemental Skill increases 2-piece Set effects by 50%.

Shimenawa’s Reminiscence (4 pieces): This increases normal attack damage by 18% for Hu Tao. Moreover, casting Elemental Skill, 15 Energy is consumed to grant a damage increase of 50% for 10 seconds.

Gilded Dreams (4 pieces): This grants additional 80 points on Elemental Mastery, and up to the activation of Elemental Reaction, party members will receive 14% increased damage for 8 seconds.

Crimson Witch of Flames (2 pieces) + Gilded Dreams (2 pieces): When both of these items are used, players get an additional 15% increase in pyro damage with +80 Elemental Mastery.

Crimson Witch of Flames (2 pieces) + Tenacity of the Millelith (2 pieces): This gives Hu Tao 15% bonus damage on pyro attacks with a permanent increase in HP by 20% when using the items.

Staff of Homa – Five Star

Weapon Event Wish can acquire the 5-star rated polearm in Genshin Impact and is mainly found with Hu Tao’s wishing banner. This increases the HP of the character by 20-40% according to its level. It also grants an attack bonus on Hu Tao’s maximum HP, which ranges between 0.8 to 1.6%. However, her HP is below 50%, and the damage exponent increases to 1-1.8% of the maximum health.

Players with Weapon Event Wishes can acquire the Staff of the Scarlet Sands, which also arrives with Cyno’s banner. The polearm increases the bonus damage of the wielder by 52-104%, depending on their Elemental Mastery. When an Elemental Skill attack is landed successfully, it gives a bonus status effect called the Dream of the Scarlet Sands, which lasts 10 seconds.

Primordial Jade Winged Spear – Five Star

This polearm was first featured with Epitome Invocation and was also featured with Xaio’s Banner. While this is a five-star weapon, it can also be acquired through Standard Banner. However, the chances are only 6 percent. This weapon increases attack damage by 3.2-6% for 6 seconds, which can stack up to 7. Additionally, this effect can only occur once after every 0.3 seconds. Moreover, these stacks can also increase the damage by 12-24%.

Dragon’s Bane – Four Star

The Dragon’s Bane pole can be acquired through Standard Wish Wanderlist Invocation, Beginner Banners, Weapon Event Wishes, or any Character Event Wishes. This weapon grants the user increased damage of 20-36% over enemies affected by Hyro and Pyro elementals.

Hu Tao has a complex Constellation system that improves her performance and damage and provides other advantages. All her constellations primarily increase the level of her abilities and increase their effectiveness in the game. The following constellation bonuses are available with Hu Tao’s progression system.

  • Crimson Bouquet: Hu Tao’s Charged Attacks do not consume stamina after activating the Paramita Papilo state using the Guide to Afterlife ability.
  • Ominous Rainfall: This increase the damage dealt by Blood Blossom by 10% of Hu Tao’s maximum HP when it is activated.
  • Lingering Carmine: This increases the Guide to Afterlife ability level by 3, which can be done to a maximum of 15 levels.
  • Garden of Eternal Rest: After banishing an enemy affected by Hu Tao’s Blood Blossom, nearby teammates get increased critical damage by 12%, which stays for 15 seconds.
  • Floral Incense: This increases the level of her Spirit Soother by 3, which can be done to a maximum of 15.
  • Butterfly’s Embrace: When Hu Tao’s level drops below 25% or receives a lethal strike, she will not fall due to the damage. Also, her Elemental and Physical resistance increases by 200% with a 100% increase in the critical-hit rate for 10 seconds. Moreover, this effect is applied automatically when she’s at 1 HP and renews once after every 1 minute.

Players will require Hu Tao’s Stella Fortuna to level up each constellation, which only drops with Wish banners. So, players can only acquire this when her event banner reappears.
