Super Mario Bros. Wonder 2D was announced for release at the Nintendo Direct. Players can expect the game to be available at the stores on October 20, 2023. Here is everything we know about it till now.

The game will have some interesting additions including local multiplayer, the ability to turn into an elephant, and quite interesting, a playable Daisy.

Besides this, several interesting things are also happening in the game, which includes ground moving, Mario becoming unusually tall, and other. However, what stays constant is the 2D design of the game.

Daisy is a playable character in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder

The gameplay also showed Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Toad, and Luigi as playable characters. The greatest shock was the addition of Daisy as a playable character in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. This is something players haven’t seen in the last 18 years.

The gameplay trailer showed other unusual things taking place in the game, a new flower has appeared, and players will be able to talk to plants. Mario can also swim in waterfalls, which is one of the less weird things.

Additionally, players also get informed about something that they can expect from the game. Geoff Keighley from The Game Awards informed more about what people can expect from the game.

Interestingly, when players click on the Wonder Flower, the wonders of the world will unlock giving players a glimpse of things unknown. Pipes would come to life, hordes of enemies would appear out of thin air and the most unique would be the character’s ability to change their looks.

The Super Mario Bros. Wonder pre-orders are now live and players can book it from the official website.
