Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya is the next big investment from BCCI and at the moment it is paying rich dividends.

Pandya has been touted as India’s net big seaming all-rounder and has been given ample opportunities across formats to cement his place and provide the necessary balance to the side.

In the 2nd T20 against Ireland, Pandya was at his ball striking best, scoring 32 of 9 balls towards the end of the Indian innings to help India sail past the 200 run mark.

His X-factor on the field is what makes India believe that Hardik can be the all-rounder that India has been searching for ever since Kapil Dev retired.

And by the looks of it, Hardik is well on course to repaying the faith instilled in him by his captain and the team management.

Pandya has been receiving a lot of support from cricketers and pandits alike, despite being subject to the occasional rant.

After his stupendous innings last night, Hardik Pandya took to Instagram to put up a video of Ziva Dhoni, wherein she was cheering on Hardik(probably because of the way he played against Ireland yesterday).

In the video, Ziva is heard saying ‘Come on Hardik’ multiple times and Hardik came up with the caption ‘Oh I think that I found myself a cheerleader’ to describe the entire incident.

Hardik Pandya would be hoping to take this form into the England tour so as to help cement his place for the World Cup next year.
