Harsha Bhogle was removed from the commentary team just a few days prior to last year’s edition which evoked a lot of anger from his large legion of fans from all across the world.

Bhogle was criticized for apparently not praising the Indian team enough during the ICC World T20 last year. Eminent personalities such as Amitabh Bachchan and MS Dhoni used Twitter to express their disappointment which garnered a lot of attention.

But in spite of the public outrage against the decision, the BCCI has stuck to their guns and not selected him as a part of their commentary team. (Harsha Bhogle is snubbed YET AGAIN from the Indian Premier League)

Micheal Clarke, who will make his debut as a commentator in the IPL this year, gave his thoughts about his inclusion and much more.

“I have been a part of this tournament as a player and this year I am eager to get behind the microphone and have some fun,” said Clarke, “Love this place, love the tournament and it is great to be a part of this commentary team.”

Kevin Pietersen will also be a part of the commentary team this year and is very excited at the prospect of taking part in the IPL again.  (Harsha Bhogle is snubbed YET AGAIN from the Indian Premier League)

“It’s always great to be in India and playing in or commentating on all of the explosive action that personifies the IPL,”

But you never know, he might still make it into the IPL !
