The star attraction of the match will be none other than Sachin Tendulkar who will be leading the India Legends. A touch of nostalgia is bound to creep in when the fans will see Tendulkar and Sehwag coming out to open the innings.
The likes of Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan will also roll back the years. Brian Lara and Shivnarine Chanderpaul will be the star attractions from West Indies. The tournament has been organized to aware people about road safety. Hence the results of the tournament won’t be of utmost importance. However, the legends of the game will look to come out all guns blazing and relive the glory days of their careers.

The surface at the Wankhede Stadium has always produced belters for batsmen and it shouldn’t be any different in the first day of the Road Safety Series. Virender Sehwag is one such player who can murder any top-class bowler of perhaps every generation. He was one of the finest strikers of the ball during his prime and will look to turn the clock just like his opening partner Tendulkar.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Kaif was also an integral part of the Indian limited-overs set up under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly. His heroic knock in the 2002 Natwest Trophy final is still etched in every cricket lover’s memory. He will look to get some runs under his belt.

Adam Sanford and Samuel Badree were both good bowlers for West Indies. Badree, in particular, is a modern-day bowler who has bamboozled quite a few batsmen during his prime. Hence he will be a big threat to India if they are to score big.
