Two cities that have since time immemorial tried to stamp their authority over the other take on each other at the Wankede Stadium tonight. Pav Bhaji or Rajma Chhole Bhature, Bombay Chat or Delhi Chat, Gateway of India or India Gate; pick your side, wear you colours and tune into this colossal encounter.
Mumbai Indians have shed their ‘slow starters’ tag to get the ball rolling from the first game itself and currently sit pretty at the top of the table. Not waiting till the fag end of the tournament to get their team combination right has worked wonders for them, and they now find themselves in unfamiliar territory of being favourites for the top 2 spots so early in the tournament.
Delhi Daredevils have invested a lot in their domestic batsmen. Samson, Pant and Nair have carried the mantle of piling up the runs and while they have come good more often than not, Delhi’s use of Morris has been a little perplexing to say the least. They have held him back for too long and have paid the price for it on multiple occasions(this season and the last one as well).
Delhi need to rectify their mistakes and Mumbai need to carry on with their right moves.

Transfer out: Imran Tahir, David Warner, Rahul Tripathi
Transfer in: Chris Morris, Jos Buttler, Krunal Pandya
Now, I already have Rishab Pant and Jasprit Bumrah in my side for this game!
I’ll be bringing in two players for this game.
Jos Buttler will be by first pick for this game. He finally announced himself in the last game, scoring a scintillating 77 in quick time to help Mumbai chase down 198 in 15 overs. With Mumbai playing twice at the Wankhede in 3 days, you can expect Buttler to fill your kitty with at least 150 points, get him in!
The second player that I would get in for this game is Chris Morris. Morris, with his all round abilities is probably the best bet for this game, provided DD use him a way that he should be.
Rohit Sharma could be a good pick now that he has found some form going, but Rana’s success and him batting at number 4 considerably brings down in ‘impact potential’. Also, whenever Mumbai bat second, Rohit is left with either very little to do or has so much to do that he isn’t able to perform under pressure.
For the uncapped player, I’ll be getting in Krunal Pandya into my side for this game. Delhi are a side dominated by right handers and thus Pandya seems to be a better option than Rana, as Pandya gives me with a double scoring opportunity.
Captain: Chris Morris(for his all round abilities)

Transfer out: David Warner, Bhuvi, Sandeep Sharma
Transfer in: Jasprit Bumrah, Chris Morris, Nitish Rana
Now, I already have Rishab Pant, Jos Buttler and Krunal Pandya in my side for this game!
The first player that I’ll get in for this side is Chris Morris. Morris’ all round abilities are enough to warrant him a place in my side for this game(Check the IPL Fantasy League section for further details).
Nitish Rana would be my second transfer for this game. He has been the lynchpin of this Mumbai batting lineup and with two home games lined up, I am sure he’ll be itching to set the Wankhede on fire once again.
My last transfer for this game is getting in Bumrah. He hasn’t had the best of IPLs so far but the fact that he bowls in the death is too enticing a prospect, and I need to oblige it. Get him in, these two games could be the turning point of his IPL season.
Batting Star: Jos Buttler
Bowling Star: Chris Morris/Jasprit Bumrah(whoever bowls first)
