Tata Motors to conduct engagement activities for fans

Tata Motors to conduct engagement activities for fans: The development was announced during a recent press conference.

Tata Motors’ Harrier, a recently released five-seater SUV by  Indian automaker Tata Motors, will be the official vehicle for the 12th season of the Indian Premier League. The SUV will be put on display throughout the tournament and will also be part of the IPL trophy tour.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with TATA Motors and have their newly launched SUV, Harrier, as the Official Partner of the IPL, 2019. Harrier’s exhilarating performance is very akin to the muscle that players put in to have the highest batting strike rate and win the Harrier Super Striker Award every match and for the season.

“We look forward to delivering great exposure to both the Harrier brand as well as TATA Motors,” BCCI Acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary was quoted as saying to the reporters during the press conference.

Similarities between IPL and Harrier

President Passenger Vehicle Business Unit at Tata Motors Mayank Pareek reflected on a successful association with the Indian Premier League last year. Pareek further highlighted the features of the SUV and explained how they connect with the cash-rich league.

“After a successful association last year, it is only fitting for Tata Motors that our premium SUV, Harrier, should be the Official Partner of one of the biggest sporting events across the World. Born of legendary pedigree, the Harrier has received a phenomenal response from customers across India.

“Much like the IPL, which is one of the most iconic global cricketing events, and is widely celebrated as a platform for budding talent and international cricket legends, the Harrier too is known for its exhilarating performance and exciting drive,” he said.

Pareek also mentioned that Tata Motors has plans to allure the audiences watching the match from various platforms. “We have elaborate plans to capture the audience’s attention in-stadia, on-air and across digital platforms, and hope to drive tremendous value from this association yet again,” he concluded.

Rewards for players and fans

As Choudhary mentioned, the Super Striker Award will witness the awardee receiving INR 1 lakh for their individual performance in a match. Furthermore, there is also a Super Striker Award for the season which will witness the winner taking home a brand new Tata Harrier.

Other than prizes for the cricketers, Tata Motors have also announced rewards for fans who visit the stadium. Any fan who will catch a one-handed six from the stands will be eligible to win INR 1 lakh per catch. More interestingly, the Best Catch of the season will give one lucky fan to win a Tata Harrier.

The optimist in him is waiting for the day when Punjab Kings will win their maiden Indian Premier League title.
