Yuvraj Singh gives hilarious reply to Broad: The veteran Indian cricketer was at in again on the social media platform.
Veteran India cricketer Yuvraj Singh continues to allure limelight because of his comments on social media platform Instagram. Recently, Yuvraj was involved in an Instagram banter with veteran India wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel regarding the Ranji Trophy and his gym session.

It all started with Yuvraj’s latest IPL franchise Mumbai Indians posting an image of the 37-year old cricketer on their official Instagram handle. “The first thing that comes to your mind when you see Yuvraj Singh is,” the caption of the photo read.
Among the people who commented on the photo was England fast bower Stuart Broad. In what a short yet descriptive comments, Broad ended up commenting ‘6’ with a funny emoji.

For people who haven’t got it, it was Yuvraj who had scored six sixes in an over against Broad during the ICC World Twenty20 2007 at Durban. The groundbreaking ‘Man of the Match’ performance had witnessed Yuvraj scoring 58 (16) with the help of three fours and seven sixes. Chasing a mammoth 219-run target, England ended up scoring 200-6 in 20 overs.
Having dismissed 437 batsmen in 126 Test matches at an average of 29.05, an economy rate of 2.95 and a strike rate of 58.8, Broad is currently England’s second-highest wicket-taker in Tests. Hailing Broad’s record in cricket’s ancestral format, the Indian southpaw ended up calling him a “legend”.
In a recent interview with The Times of India, Yuvraj gave hints of preparing for the tournament with full gusto. The 38-year old cricketer also spoke about how him contributing in the middle-order will ease pressure off captain Rohit Sharma.
In 128 IPL matches, Yuvraj has scored 2,652 runs at a mediocre average of 24.78 and a strike rate of 129.68. Mumbai Indians will be the World Cup-winning all-rounder’s sixth IPL franchise.
