Pant on meeting Paine’s wife and kids: The Indian wicket-keeper opened up on his meeting with the Australian captain’s wife.

India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant’s meeting with Australia captain Tim Paine’s wife and kids didn’t go unnoticed for the photo went viral on the internet after Bonnie Paine uploaded it as an Instagram story from her account.

The banter between the two wicket-keepers during the ongoing Test series between Australia and India was such that it had it in it to do the rounds for the days to come. With Pant getting clicked with Bonnie Paine, fans couldn’t resist but praise the sports both Pant and Paine have been throughout the series.

In a recent interview, the 21-year old southpaw remembered his time at the Kirribilli House in Sydney.

“Everyone’s family were really nice. We met most of the people during the function at the prime minister’s house. It was lovely meeting them. I don’t think I have to change myself for something like that. The only thing is they put the photo on Instagram and it went viral,” Pant was quoted as saying to the media.

The fact that Pant has scored more runs than India captain Virat Kohli in the ongoing series speaks highly about the influence which he has had. In seven innings, Pant has scored 350 runs at an average of 58.33 and a strike rate of 73.99.

Apart from his returns with the bat, it is worth mentioning that Pant has been constantly in the ears of the Australian batsmen. Pant has had a few things to say to the Australian batsmen in this series which include Usman Khawaja, Pat Cummins and Paine.
