James Milner goal line clearance vs Bournemouth: Liverpool star rushes back to make vital clearance during the Premier League clash.

Liverpool seem to have finally put their slump to rest after coming back from 1-0 to lead the match 2-1. The 10th minute goal from Callum Wilson was negated by Mohamed Salah with a clean strike before Sadio Mane handed the Reds a lead to end the first half.

Bournemouth however, could have very well equalised in the 2nd half when Ryan Fraser beat the Reds back line before chipping the ball over Goalkeeper Adrian’s head. The ball was on its way into the back of the net. However, Liverpool’s Mr. Dependable, James Milner, had other ideas.

He rushed to the back and acrobatically stuck his leg out to send the ball out of play. Fraser asked the referee to check if the ball had gone over the line. However, replays showed that the ball was nowhere near getting in when Milner made the ridiculous save.

At the time of writing, Liverpool still have their 2-1 lead. The Reds look good to put an end to their rare losing streak. However, in spite of dominating possession, they look awkward and uncomfortable out there.

Earlier in the match, Callum Wilson took the lead from a controversial play when a Bournemouth player beat Joe Gomez to win the ball near the box. Replays showed that the player had indeed shoved Gomez before playing the ball in. However, there was no call from the referee.
