Jasprit Bumrah tweet sends fans into a frenzy

Jasprit Bumrah tweet sends fans into a frenzy. The online post has made fans begun speculating when the Indian Pace spearhead will make his return.

Jasprit Bumrah last played for India during the West Indies tour. Bumrah was exceptional in that tour as he has been in recent times. However, a back injury forced him out of the recently concluded home series against South Africa.

India did not miss Bumrah much as they ran riot against South Africa to whitewash the 3 test match series and it doesn’t seem like they will need him for now as they host a bunch of series at home. However, India’s itinerary consists of a difficult tour to the New Zealand tour.

A bowler of Jasprit Bumrah’s quality will surely make a world of difference in the series. Unfortunately, Bumrah is yet to regain complete fitness. However, his recent twitter post was enough to trigger excitement in India’s supporters.

Bumrah recently posted a photo from the NCA in Bengaluru of him doing weights. Bumrah shared the latest picture from his gym session on his official Twitter account and captioned it, “Coming Soon”.

This was enough to invoke exhilaration among fans who came in flocks to show their support to the fast bowler.

Bumrah’s rise in International cricket has been consistent and constant. Ever since being discovered by Mumbai Indians in the IPL, the fast bowler has risen through the ranks to become the mainstay of the Indian Bowling attack.

He is indispensable for India in the shorter formats and has proven to be very lethal in test cricket as well. Bumrah is the only Asian to take 5-wicket hauls in tests played in South Africa, England, Australia, and West Indies. He is also the only the third Indian to take a hat-trick in tests.

With the difficult tour of New Zealand next year and the ICC World T20, Bumrah’s steady recovery is good news for both India and its supporters.
